NFPA Fire & Life Safety Ecosystem
The NFPA Fire & Life Safety Ecosystem™ is a framework that identifies the components that must work together to minimize risk and help prevent loss, injuries, and death from fire, electrical, and other hazards.

NFPA is committed to promoting the Fire & Life Safety Ecosystem to protect people and property against evolving safety threats, and wants to work with others who are part of this critical system.

Who,When,&How?
Fire and life safety systems are used by any building or facility that needs to protect its occupants from fire hazards, including businesses, homes, hospitals, hotels, schools, industrial facilities, government buildings, and essentially any structure where people gather or live, as they are designed to ensure safe evacuation in case of a fire emergency; building owners and managers are primarily responsible for implementing and maintaining these systems.
